Who we are

Zeapard Devs (ABN 51 712 177 272) is a web studio based in Melbourne, Victoria, working with businesses across Australia. Tia, our founder, is your direct contact.

Quotes and scope

• Before any work starts, you get a written quote that lists the scope and the price. A quote is valid for 30 days.
• Each package has a fixed scope, shown on the packages page. Anything outside it, such as extra pages, products or features, is quoted first and only done once you agree.

Prices and GST

Prices are in Australian dollars. Zeapard Devs isn’t registered for GST, so no GST is added.

Payments

• Projects are paid in stages. Essential and Growth: 50% to start · 50% before launch. Commerce: 30% to start · 40% after design & build approval · 30% before launch.
• Invoices are due within 7 days. If a payment is late, we pause work until it’s paid, and launch dates move to match.
• Stripe’s card fees on your sales, and any other platform fees, are paid by you to those platforms.

What you provide

• The text, photos, logo, menu or product details for your site, and access to your domain and any accounts we need to set up.
• You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us.
• Build times start once we have your content. If content arrives late, the launch date moves with it.

Changes and approval

• Essential includes 1 round of changes before launch; Growth and Commerce include 2. A round is one list of changes sent together.
• Your site goes live only after you approve it.
• More rounds, or changes that add to the scope, are quoted first.

Ownership and portfolio

• Once the final payment is made, you own the design and content made for your site.
• We keep the right to reuse our general code, tools and layouts in other projects.
• We may show your site in our portfolio once it’s live. Tell us if you’d rather we didn’t.

Your domain and accounts

Your domain is registered in your name, and accounts such as Stripe are opened in your business’s name, so you stay in control if you ever move on.

Care plans

• Care plans are paid monthly in advance and run month to month. Either side can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
• Update time and turnaround are as listed on the care plans page: small updates within 2 business days, time counted in 15-minute blocks, unused time not carried over, and extra time at $60 an hour once you agree.
• If you cancel, we help you move your site to hosting of your choice.

Other services

Your site may rely on services run by other companies, such as hosting, email, booking platforms and Stripe. We set them up with care, but we can’t control their outages or changes.

Ending a project early

Either side can end a project with written notice. You pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand over what has been built for the stages you’ve paid for.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, and as far as the law allows, our liability for a project is limited to the amount you’ve paid us for it.
